A career in Pharmacy has gained much traction over the last few years. Pharmaceutical sciences is a broad field with its scope and applications in medical, drug, research, and education fields. With increasing scope of pharmacy in India, the requirement of pharmacy graduates has increased exponentially.

To pursue a career in Pharmaceutical industry, there are three major Pharmacy courses offered at undergraduate and postgraduate level in India. The undergraduate level has two options for students – Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) and Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) courses. While at postgraduate level there is Masters in Pharmacy (M.Pharm).

D. Pharm. Course Eligibility:

Minimum eligibility qualification is 10+2 level of education in science stream, from a recognized educational board, for admission into the Diploma in Pharmacy [D.Pharm.] course in any college. A minimum aggregate score of 50% (Passing marks) at the 10+2 level is also necessary. The cut-off percentage of marks differs as per the University/College.
